Toledo is a great place to live and work. It has a major airport, fantastic hospitals, low crime rates, and good schools. The city also has many historical sites that are worth visiting for anyone who wants to learn more about the area’s rich history. Toledo is also home to one of the most famous amusement parks in the world: Cedar Point! There is truly something for everyone in this wonderful city.
Toledo Museum of Art
The Toledo Museum of Art is one of the most beautiful and well-known museums in Ohio. This museum has something for everyone, with a variety of different exhibits throughout the year–including new paintings, as well as traveling galleries. The Toledo Museum Of Art also hosts regular events where visitors can explore both modern art or attend lectures on famous artists from around the world.
I recommend starting off your trip to this amazing place by visiting their current exhibit. There you will see some incredible pieces that have never been seen before! But be sure not to stop there; there are plenty more things to do in Toledo Ohio just waiting for you at this wonderful museum!
Toledo Zoo
Toledo Zoo is a zoo in Toledo, Ohio. It has been on the National Register of Historic Places since 1999 and was designated as an official Ohio Historical Site in 2000. This unique mix of old-world charm with modern security makes this one of my favorite places to go for some good ol’ family fun!
I recommend heading out there during their popular “Zooper Night” where you can explore the exhibits after hours while they are illuminated by light from glow sticks that all visitors get upon entry–a truly magical experience!
Toledo Botanical Garden
The Toledo Botanical Garden is a botanical garden located in Toledo, Ohio. The gardens are open year-round and offer many different activities for people to enjoy–including extensive gardens with over 50 themed beds representing everything from Mediterranean landscapes to Japanese gardens!
This place really shines during the spring when they have their amazing tulip festival that only lasts a few weeks but will leave you longing for more time spent there as soon as it’s over–it looks like something right out of a movie!
Swan Creek Preserve Metropark
The Swan Creek Preserve Metropark is a 320-acre park that offers many recreational activities for people of all ages.
This place really shines in the fall when they have their annual Apple Festival, which features a huge orchard with thousands and thousands of different apples to pick from! You’ll also find lots of other fun things there like corn mazes–plus it’s always open so you can visit at any time of year without paying an entrance fee!
National Museum of the Great Lakes
The National Museum of the Great Lakes is a great place for people with an interest in maritime history. It’s also educational and a lot of fun!
You’ll find historical artifacts, boats to explore, and so much more–plus you can even take boat tours here at certain times throughout the year if that’s something you’re interested in doing as well.
